This is what the new normal looks like!⠀ ⠀
I am hoping to re-open my office for in-person visits on May 18, assuming there is no new guidance from the state. Unfortunately things will need to be a little different in order to maximize safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.⠀ ⠀
Patients will be wearing a mask for as long as possible during their visit and I will be wearing a mask the entire time. I will also be wearing eye protection during office procedures. ⠀ ⠀
We will be checking in patients by phone and text once they arrive in our parking lot and we will contact you when it’s time for you to come into the office. Getting rid of the waiting room helps minimize any potential contact between patients. We also have a full cleaning protocol in place where each room is disinfected between patient visits. ⠀ ⠀
I know I look a little scary like this, but I’m still the same friendly doctor underneath my mask and goggles! I’ve spent several weeks helping out in the hospital on the COVID wards. Believe me when I say that you don’t want to get this disease if you can avoid it. My office will do everything I possible to ensure you have a safe experience during your appointment.⠀ ⠀
