Before and after lower blepharoplasty surgery

by | Feb 23, 2021

These photos show a woman in her early 50s before and 1.5 years after her initial lower blepharoplasty surgery. One vial of filler was used during the postop period to blend the eyelid-cheek junction.

As you can see, removal of her under eye bags gives her a more attractive, less-tired look.

This patient had an unusual postoperative course. She was healing normally until about two
months after surgery when she started noticing some of the fat coming back. I have performed about 1000 of these surgeries and have never seen the fat come back this quickly.

I performed a revision surgery at no cost to the patient and she is now doing great six months later. Both the patient and I are now really happy with her results.

The vast majority of surgeries heal in a very predictable way. If there are postoperative issues, revision surgeries are performed at no additional cost to the patient.
